In order to insure the safety of Pennsylvania residents, the state has adopted the Uniform Construction Code. All new construction, including additions, must meet these new standards and have a building permit prior to starting work. Building permits are also required for most work in existing commercial buildings.
Accredited Services is a Certified Third Party Agency and now issues building permits in a number of Pennsylvania municipalities, including (Franklin County) Waynesboro, Antrim Township, Quincy Township, Mont Alto, Greencastle, and in most of Adams County.
Prior to obtaining your building permit, most Pennsylvania municipalities require a Land Use Permit. Land Use Permits are issued by the individual municipality. Accredited Services is the Zoning Officer and issues the Land Use Permits and performs all Land Use Inspections for Quincy Township and Mont Alto. We also perform Land Use Inspections for Antrim Township after they issue the Land Use Permit.
